Well, we survived our first BIG trip with Josie pretty well.
We spent 5 days in Nebraska. We flew into Omaha Wednesday night, but got delayed in Denver due to snow and ice, and ended up finally at our end point at the Brownelle's in Lincoln past 1 am (yikes!). Thursday we drove to Superior, where Josie's GREAT Grandma Benson, as well as a few other relatives live. Friday night we were back in Lincoln so that Eric and Suzanne could go to the Nebraska Cornhuskers game Saturday morning (for you non- Nebraskans, this is a BIG DEAL: GO BIG RED!). Unfortunately, the game was a bit of a disappointment. Then today- back home! I have to say I was very impressed at the Nebraskan friendliness and hospitality, and Josie travelled (mostly) well.

Adorable pictures! I love the one of Eric's Dad on the ground with Josie. What is it about babies that turns us all into little kids?
Great Cornhusker's gear, by the way....but we need to get that girl into some Husky purple and gold!
I have to agree that Josie had better be a Husky fan! :) ...but I can't keep from smiling when I see her wearing all that Nebraska stuff, too. I'm glad you guys were able to make the trip...maybe you can make a smaller trip to see us sometime soon! :)
