Easter Weekend

We had a fabulous time at my parents house, visiting Meemo, Nonno, Heidi, Maria and Kyle. Josie had so much fun frolicking in the yard, feeding the chickens, petting Sammy the bunny, eating normally forbidden candy, and generally exploring. It was really lovely and quite relaxing to be around so many loving family members, and to eat my mama's food.
We had our traditional easter egg dying competition on Saturday, and sat around for hours coming up with ideas and dying the ultimate eggs. We totalled around 9 dozen eggs. The Yost grandparents also joined us, so we got the best of both worlds for an afternoon.
Sunday we hunted eggs first thing in the morning. Maria won with 27 eggs found, Heidi close behind. Then delicious breakfast, church, and home for a relaxing afternoon.
Here are a few new portraits of Josie, but only a couple of action shots. I was too busy hunting eggs myself to take pictures, so we'll have to wait for Nonno to get home from his trip home to Germany for Oma's 80th birthday to post all the egg shot and the egg hunters on pbase.
