Fun videos

These videos are so fun! We have been capturing lots of video moments, but not been very good about uploading them. These are a few recent highlights. Giggles... and more messy eating and some peek a boo. Enjoy!

Play and music class

Today we went to our first gymboree music class... and Josie loved it! She got to bang on a drum, shake a maraca, and sing lots of songs. We also played a bit on their indoor gym after, and the pictures show how she liked it. Thanks Grandma and Grandpa Yost for Josie's Christmas present, I think we will really enjoy it. On Friday, we go to a play class.

Wrinkly Nose series

Some more of Josie's funny new face... I love it!
Poor baby has been a bit under the weather today. She has had a fever the last two days, today we took her to the pediatrician. She seems OK, just a bit tired and whiny.

PODs

Here are a couple shots for today. My friend Erica and her family visited yesterday from South Carolina.
And... Josie has a funny new wrinkly nose face she is doing, and here she is demonstrating with yogurt on her face this morning at breakfast.

Christmas 2009

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. It was really nice to spend so much time around our family, and this year our celebrations were so filled with joy and love with baby Josie around.
This year we started out with the traditional Christmas eve crab dinner and German Christmas eve traditions. Josie was so overwhelmed by all the action, but she did make it part way through the gift giving.
On Christmas day we headed over to the Yosts first thing in the morning, where we had a really nice and slow paced day.
Josie really enjoyed all her grandparents, aunts and uncles, and I think they enjoyed her, too. She got some fun toys, and a gorgeous hand knit sweater from my mom. We found out a few things that she likes, including music (she loved playing piano with Grandma) and meat (pork chop bone = big hit! and SNOW!
Also attached is a photo of the drawing Eric did for his parents as a Christmas gift, and the photo he drew it from. Incredible, eh?
